The “Koro Koro” Name
The words ‘Koro Koro”, in the Japanese language, have many meanings. The two words are used together and can be translated to convey messages of changes and growth. Both of these concepts relate to the artwork I create using the various elements of Mulberry Paper, hand-made in Korea, Asian Calligraphy and Encaustic Medium. What distinguishes this particular group of artwork on the web site is they are all displayed on custom metal brackets giving the artwork the illusion of floating off the wall forming unique shadows and reflections. The brackets are included with each artwork for easy installation.
Please click here for a photo of the bracket you will receive when the artwork is purchased for your home or office.
