Series 2016-20 is a commission for a particular wall in a client’s home. The three separate square pieces create the vertical installation. Round shapes within the lattice design is a compliment to the contemporary home where this artwork now resides in Denver.
Joomchi is a 500-year-old Korean paper-making technique that uses water to fuse several layers of handmade mulberry papers (Hanji) together. PJ Bergin is bringing her unique artistic sensibility to this ancient medium.
